rustic? nah.

I am alive, for those of you who wondered. Ok none of you wondered that.

If you read my mom or sisters blog then you saw that we had an incredible time in California. The weather was gloomy, just like I likes it. Not too hot but still hot enough for me to get swass and a little bitty sunburn. I personally enjoy the rain and don't mind the clouds one bit. As long as it isn't snowing I don't care if its a little bit cold. I'd rather put on a jacket and shiver than have sweat in my butt crack. Too Much Info? Sorry! My camera died the day we got there so all the pictures I have are crappy and just from my phone.

I look angry, but I was just squinting at the sun.

Livvy had so much fun feeding the seagulls some popcorn. Ok so did me and mom. :)

I made spicy yellow curry, it was delicious.

And Megan even came to play with us! I was so happy! She brought Ryder and Jilly. Ryder and Olivia are in love, I decided. Her sweet mom is spending time in LA with her and taking care of Ryder during the days when Meg is busy. I missed her a lot but was so lucky I got to see her. We'll make it through the summer, I know now :)
Oh and yes, I did get a new car recently, I am very happy with it. I actually feel safe and i'm not scared that my hood will fly up and kill me, and its great that my friends and family can actually open the passenger doors instead of climbing in nascar style. Although I think some of you liked that....

There is a nifty little slot where you can set the gas cap down while you're filling up. Does YOUR car do that? ha!

Oh yes I moved also...

More on that later.

Byebye

Boyz II Men were right. It IS so hard to say goodbye. At least I know my friends aren't dead and i'll see them again. That is always comforting.
This morning as I strangled (hugged) Meg goodbye and she told me its ok it won't be that long, she promised... I felt a little nibble of my heart break away. I watched it float away beside her. I know that 4 months isn't very long, the time really isn't even the biggest concern for me. I only worry for her happiness. I never want her to feel lonely or far away, and I know she will and I hate it. I hope that she has enough fun to keep it balanced.

Colby called me shortly after to ask if I had his Notorious BIG movie. No buddy, sorry. He's leaving here in a few hours too, for the whole summer. I didn't have a chance to say bye. Be safe Colby don't get into trouble please!!

AJ I didn't see you for a farewell either. Maybe its better this way, who needs sloppy sad goodbyes anyway, right? I love you Man.

KC you can't leave yet. Thanks.

Next weekend- Off to the beach to achieve the following:
Sunburn
Livvy kisses
happy family time
livvy kisses.

oh yeah??

So you think you can just paint your bedside table from 1992 with some blue and white stars and then label it "Americana"??

blablabla

I have no excuses, just haven't felt like blogging. I promised Camille that I would though so I am here to do 2 things, and 2 things only!!

1- I smell like garlic.
2-
That picture is from way back in the day when I lived with Megan. Not sure why but we taped her hand up and drew a duck on it. I do not think drugs or alcohol were involved, I think we are just naturally hilarious.

whiny style

Exactly a year ago today, I posted this here blog. I now own 6 of the things on the list of things I wanted. That was fun :)

I am so very grateful for everything I have. It's lame but having my car break down is teaching me a few much needed lessons.
  • No ones life or schedule revolves around me.
  • People will not always offer, do not be afraid to ask.
  • Pioneers walked, and walked, and walked. I can too.
  • Riding your bike to work does not justify eating a butterfinger. Sorry.
Last night my mom and I went to a baby shower for my long time friend Kelsie. She is so dang cute and it is always fun to go back to her house and remember all the things we did when we were little. I remember I was really sad when her family moved out of our neighborhood. Kelsie was my best friend and we played every single day. I loved riding down the stairs in a sleeping bag. Marsha (her mom) would always make me sandwiches with mustard and I used to hate mustard but she told me that someday I'd like it. (I do now, but only because Seth puts it on literally everything and I was forced to give it another chance. Mustard ain't so bad :)) After the shower my mom had a meeting so she just dropped me off at her house. I was going to make the boy take me to trax but dad offered a ride home and why would I say no? We stopped and got ice cream on the way. I love my family. As my dad was dropping me off he specifically said, "Do you have your keys?" Yes dad of course I do, DUH. They drove away and I walked slowly to my house while I dug around in the 3 big bags I was carrying for my keys. Crap. Crap Crap. Crap. No keys.
Lisas phone is off. Crap.
Back door is locked too! Crap!
Hmmm.... So I called Seth and he was kind to bike down to my house and help me break in. Thank you thank you thank you. I thought I might pee my pants!

Thank you to everyone who loves me and takes good care of me.
