whiny style

Exactly a year ago today, I posted this here blog. I now own 6 of the things on the list of things I wanted. That was fun :)

I am so very grateful for everything I have. It's lame but having my car break down is teaching me a few much needed lessons.
  • No ones life or schedule revolves around me.
  • People will not always offer, do not be afraid to ask.
  • Pioneers walked, and walked, and walked. I can too.
  • Riding your bike to work does not justify eating a butterfinger. Sorry.
Last night my mom and I went to a baby shower for my long time friend Kelsie. She is so dang cute and it is always fun to go back to her house and remember all the things we did when we were little. I remember I was really sad when her family moved out of our neighborhood. Kelsie was my best friend and we played every single day. I loved riding down the stairs in a sleeping bag. Marsha (her mom) would always make me sandwiches with mustard and I used to hate mustard but she told me that someday I'd like it. (I do now, but only because Seth puts it on literally everything and I was forced to give it another chance. Mustard ain't so bad :)) After the shower my mom had a meeting so she just dropped me off at her house. I was going to make the boy take me to trax but dad offered a ride home and why would I say no? We stopped and got ice cream on the way. I love my family. As my dad was dropping me off he specifically said, "Do you have your keys?" Yes dad of course I do, DUH. They drove away and I walked slowly to my house while I dug around in the 3 big bags I was carrying for my keys. Crap. Crap Crap. Crap. No keys.
Lisas phone is off. Crap.
Back door is locked too! Crap!
Hmmm.... So I called Seth and he was kind to bike down to my house and help me break in. Thank you thank you thank you. I thought I might pee my pants!

Thank you to everyone who loves me and takes good care of me.

I remember going over to the Neeleys house and Mom and Marsha would tie die/puff paint clothes in the basement and they had a big dog that scared me a little bit. Sometimes I think that if i go for a run in the morning that it is ok to eat whatever I want...may be the reason I see no results...you should hide a key under your door mat. for all the times you have had to break in, it might be worth it!

It's funny how sometimes you have to go without something or someone before you realize how much they mean to you! You are getting very wise for your young years. (except for the keys) love you

I need to get those mustard biking shorts made :) It took me a few seconds to open your door...I think it is a good time to start thinking about using the deadbolt....any crazy toothless man roaming the streets could open your door and steal your kitties :( then sell them to long life veggie house for drugs ;)

Speaking from 3 1/2 months of no car experience I can say with certainty that it STINKS! Everyone is nice to give rides, but eventually you feel like a burden, walking takes forever and I show up wind-blown and sweaty, and the bus takes forever!

Thank goodness for good friends and family - I hope you get your car back soon.
